About the UTC’s Fine Art Center

Chattanooga is a city full of locally made art, with murals and sculptures scattered throughout, constantly drawing people in to explore its vibrant and ever-growing art scene. Yet, one gem that often gets overlooked is the Fine Arts Center at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

The Fine Arts Center is home to the Institute of Contemporary Art and two main theaters: the Roland Hayes Concert Hall and the Dorothy Hackett Ward Theater. Performances are held regularly and are open to both the local community and curious visitors. You can find their event listings here.

Seating

The Roland W. Hayes Concert Hall offers a variety of seating options, ensuring a great view from every angle. Even when seated in the first two rows, the sound quality remains balanced, not overwhelming, but immersive, providing an intimate and high-quality experience for the audience.
